WE MADE IT TO A SECOND POST Y'ALL

Reasons Why I Made A Blog:

1. Because Claire Shannon made one. If you have not read Claire Shannon's writing, START. Her writing alone could end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Here's her link: http://peoniesshmeonies.tumblr.com/. I also recommend requesting to be added to her exclusive email chain.

2. Because I'm leaving the country for 4.5 months, starting next month. EVERYONE NEEDS A BLOG WHEN THEY LEAVE FOR THAT LONG.

3. Because I had Julia Core's blessing. Big strides for the blogging world, everyone. Big strides.

4. To *~express myself~*

5. To share intimate details about my life. Like the fact that I just found chocolate smeared around the perimeter of the right side of my belly button. Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered pretzel slims, ugh.

6. And last but not least. JESUS. He has changed me. And he's changing me. And life with Him is better than any version of life I've ever lived before. And because not enough people talk about how hard it is to follow Jesus. And that it's ok to ask questions. And to worship and doubt--AT THE SAME TIME.



NOT Reasons Why I Made A Blog:

1. To land a book deal. BUT IF ANYONE WERE TO OFFER I'D BE DOWN.

2. Because I'm the keeper of knowledge of all things spiritual. I repeat. I'm still trying to figure this whole Jesus thing out.

3. Because I'm overflowing with original thoughts. Picture this: I read a lot. I hear a lot. I learn a lot from the people in my life. I consult the big man in the sky about things a lot. Then put a filter on all of that called "Jessica Jansen's mind". Now we're cookin'.

4. Because my life is so exciting. I guess if you think eating a fried egg and toast upwards of eight times a week is exciting.

5. Because Face Book and Instagram weren't enough for me.



My hope is that I enjoy writing this and that all pals from all different backgrounds enjoy reading it. Peace & Blessings.
